TECNA NO Gravity Spring Tool Balancers are durable, zero gravity balancers that provide improved balance and easy handling, with configurations ranging from 0.4 to 396 lbs. (0.2 – 180 kg.). Furthermore, they carry the load on a stainless steel wire rope, making tools nearly weightless and reducing operator fatigue, while improving safety and ergonomics.

As the tool is repositioned, the stainless steel cable extends and retracts smoothly from the aluminum housing, providing a full range of motion. Tension adjustment is easy and precise. Most TECNA Stainless Steel Cable Balancers are also available in Explosion Resistant (ATEX-Rated) and Nylon Cable (synthetic rope) models, and optional Rubber Guards may also be available.

The standard features of TECNA balancers include rugged construction, with Nylon, Aluminum or Rubberized-Aluminum body material, ribbed and sealed monobloc construction in aluminium alloy, and stainless steel rope. They also feature adjustable capacity, a safety device against load dropping due to the spring breakage (>3kg), an auxiliary safety suspension, a centrifugal safety device, an upper rotary suspension with safety hook, and an optional locking device to block the load at any height.

Additionally, TECNA balancers come equipped with an adjustable stroke limiting device, a taper drum rotating on ball bearings, a cable guide in antifriction material, an inert spring drum assembly, a Polyamides thimble, and optional external rubber protection and a rotating and insulating device.
